ASTRO DOES A TRIPLE IN TROUBLED TIMES!

Astro has launched 3 new channels under its Mustika pack: ASTRO CITRA (Channel 131), ASTRO WARNA (Channel 132) and B4U (Channel 133) and they offer Malaysian families complete entertainment for RM12.95 per month.

Speaking at the launch of the Mustika pack, Rohana Rozhan, CEO of Astro said, “As Astro continues to evolve and refresh our value proposition, we also aim to stay committed to offer the very best of local and international genres such as sports under Stadium Astro, lifelong learning under Kampus Astro, the best of Hollywood and Bollywood, TVB Hong Kong dramas, the best of Malaysian movies and comedies and international children’s programming.”

ASTRO CITRA is the Malaysian version of a HBO channel, with local and Asian blockbuster movies, Malay premieres, Malay epic series and all time favourite Malay movies. A big Malay epic series, Suatu Ketika will soon make its debut on CITRA too, thus enhancing the channel proposition.

ASTRO WARNA is positioned as Malaysia’s first 24-hour local comedy channel and home to local comedians like Afdlin, Apek, Nabil and Harith, bringing viewers all-time favourite Malay comedies, new locally produced sitcoms, dramadies, sketches and stand-ups.

Bollywood For You (B4U) brings the latest box-office Bollywood movies and music videos.
It also feature up to 5 movies per day including top 10 Bollywood movies, in addition to celebrity interviews, music video and a host of interesting vignettes.

Today Astro has 2.65 million customers, which is 45% penetration of total Malaysian TV homes. Last year we spent nearly RM1 billion on content. Of this amount RM300 million is on local content and localization.

Pelancaran Rasmi Astro MUSTIKA di Mid Valley Megamall

Pada jam 3 petang tadi, telah berlangsung Majlis Pelancaran Rasmi Astro Mustika di North Court, Mid Valley Megamall. Apa itu MUSTIKA? Yea, MUSTIKA adalah satu pakej terbaru Astro yang mempunyai tiga saluran iaitu ASTRO CITRA, ASTRO WARNA dan B4U. Harga pakej MUSTIKA ialah RM12.95 sebulan.

Turut sama hadir ialah wajah baru Astro iaitu Afdlin Shauki, Lisa Surihani dan Farid Kamil. Juga dihiburkan dengan geng bintang Akademi Fantasia dan geng Gempak Selebriti Astro.

Takleh ker dia include channel2 Indon kat Astro Mustika nie nanti? Aku gerenti mesti hits.. lagi2 kalau ada TPI, Metro TV, Trans TV, Trans 7, Global TV etc...
